Getting Started with Organizational Change Management

If you are thinking of working with me on Organizational Change Management, I invite you to spend some time with these questions.

Indicators your organization might benefit from my consulting:

  • The organization has grown in pieces, but not integrated into a single vision.
  • The environment in which the organization exists has changed.
  • The structure of the organization has become inflexible.
  • Decision making is centralized and is becoming inefficient.
  • Decision making is decentralized and is becoming inefficient.
  • Vision, functions, processes and people are no longer aligned.

Questions are similar to teams but the scale is bigger

  1. What are people saying at the water cooler (or through Twitter and texting)?
  2. What is not discussed?
  3. How has the organization environment changed?
  4. What new demands exist for the organization?
  5. What dream has yet to be fulfilled?
  6. What do you want the organization to become?
  7. Who could sponsor a major change effort?
  8. How soon do you need results?
  9. What would make the change effort worth the cost in time and money?
